Brief

Create an interactive infographic that depicts how much time students spent doing certain activities over a 24 hour period.

Concept

Each student in class contributed to the dataset, tracking their activities for a 24 hour period. I began by sketching the concept in Illustrator, deciding on the shapes, colors and layout before starting the coding process. I needed to visually differentiate between male and female students, and show which activities they spent the most time doing. The star shapes measure the value by the distance from the center, and can be interacted with to get a more detailed understanding of each student's habits.
